OK! I did it... I bought a dukane 4003 OHP

lol i said screw it and went to inventory solutions and just straight bought a dukane 4003 4300 lumen projector...

i'm hoping this will work good enough to my needs...

The whole thing cost me 83+25 for shipping, with i believe 2 bulbs included!

So screw selling my panel for now... lol

I think i'm back... hehe

This is the same projector I bought also. Mine came with a "used" bulb which I went through pretty quick, but I have found a good resource in chicago that sold me some bulbs really cheap. About $6.75 per bulb, so I picked up four. I can e-mail you his addy if you want. It was nice as versus the $30.00 per bulb Office Max wanted to charge me. I just put the new bulbs in tonight and it looks really nice. With the panel this thing looks really good in a dark room and is still decently viewable with mild lights on.
I am looking into several ways I want to improve things with my setup as far as my HTPC, lightsource [want to switch to a double ended MH] stand that I can store my HTPC inside of, ghetto enclosure to cut down on stray light, etc... All in all I have been very happy with this OHP and have put it to heavy use already! Hope you like yours as much as I like mine. 🙂

you know the worst part is that i told my gf i was selling my panel... lol tonight i see her and i'm like, "so i bought an OHP for the panel..." she's like WHAT????

lol... her shocked expression was priceless... hehe

I'm hoping this will be good... the price was pretty decent, and your bulb price is AWESOME!!! I will definetly have to talk to you about those prices... VERY nice!!! I won't have to worry as much about watching movies and the hours i'm putting on it!

Now i hope it arrives and works properly!! 🙂

can you or someone direct me to a step by step of moding an ohp to use mh bulbs? i have a 3m 9100 i think it is 2800 lumens but i want a bulb thats lasts 10000 hours! anyway if you help then thanks a lot!
