Now that you mention it.
I made a terrific deal on a batch of Russian labelled mineral water at ebay, NOS of the Soviet days, from wells somewhere in the Ukraine I believe.

I've always been a water from the tap kind of person. The only exception is when visiting SE Asia then bottled or at least boiled water is mandatory.
Right tool for the job I suppose

I've had beer with ice (customary to serve beer with ice in Vietnam) without issue, but maybe they boil the water first before freezing it.
