not sure where this fits but it's about a PSU

I'm trying to simulate a PSU using Orcad 10.5.

I draw the schematics in Capture. The regulator I'm looking at is available from Capture's library.

When I simulate the circuit using Pspice, it's saying the regulator is not in the library. I had a look at the built-in Linear tech library and I cannot find the part there.

Is there a workaround?

ps. I downloaded the Pspice file from linear and have placed it in Pspice library folder. I ran the simulation and nothing seems to work.

Most programs don't go just looking for files named ????.???. I'm not a Pspice user, but I bet you need an #include statement (or .inc like Lt Spice).

There must a Pspice user group on the internet, download a couple sample files, you can probably figure it out.
