Hello all... Completely new to the DIY side of audio. I've been a guitarist for about 14 years or so and dabbled with car audio and such for about the same time frame. I have a limited electronics schematics understanding but I'm trying to teach myself.
Wish list of projects:
1) Build a good pair of nearfield monitors to play a recording interface through with my computer--complete with amp if I can get some info on a good/beginner novice project to accomplish that
2) Build some speakers to construct a makeshift listening area in my tiny apartment.
Any and all help is appreciated--Recommendations are always welcome. Looking forward to working with you.

Hi LoneRangers - and Welcome to diyAudio!!!! 😀😀😀
He is some electronics info stuff to study - there are a lot of other one's around, if needed, but I didn't wanna overload you right out of the gate.....
Basic Car Audio Electronics
If you need to learn how to solder I can show you some links too - but let the internet and Youtube be your friend because there is a lot of information there also.
You might get overwhelmed with it all for awhile - sort of like learning to play music - but with a good coach all things will fall into place with time (and practice)... 😀😀😀
