Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'm very confused as to what I need to do in order to watch my downloaded movies on 27inch regular TV that has S-Video connector in the back with 4 pins but my graphic card GeForce 5600 has many more, I belive 12 pins......I think I found website that has pretty much all the cables anyone could want and I think this is the cable I need:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=12575&vpn=VI-S-RCA-MF-5&manufacture=Others
but there is 2 more....making this even more confusing:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11972&vpn=AU-S-RCA-MM-6&manufacture=Others
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11963&vpn=VI-S-RCA-MM-6&manufacture=Others
list of cables:

Thanks in advance!
Phil

umm, with most graphics cards you just stick an s-video cable into the jack and connect it to your tv... The other pins give you like other video formats or are just unused...
Have you rtfm yet? It looks like you only need the breakout if you want to be able to use the other features of the card.

Here is a link of what my card is like from the rear (notice 10 pins, not 4) and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Showi...DDR+AGP+4X/8X+Low-Profile+Video+Card+-+Retail
And because "package content" on newegg is showing "S-RCA Cable" as included I belive this cable is what I need to convert my 10 pin connector to 4 pin and then add S-Video cable to plug into the TV.......I think.

Yes just connect your TV with that plug, you should have a Svideo plug with your videocard! Atleast i did with my nvidia 5xxx series. After you connected it go turn it on in your videocards drivers, there should be a tab in the drivers concerning TV's.
And if the tv doesnt flick over to the pc's image right away, just search channels or AV channels on it for it to display it 😀

I don't have plug with 4 pins (S-Video), my plug is 10pins and simple S-Video cable is no good......

I got a 10 pin to Svideo (4 pin) and Coax out converter on my vidcard. Maybe you need to buy one of those or check if it came with it?
have you tried using a normal s-video cable?
That s-rca thing lets you use a rca (composite) video out, but for s-video it just uses the 4 pins that is in a normal s-video cable in the socket. I have a 2 g-forces and a radeon that have the extra pins in the connector and they work when you just stick a s-video cable in it...
Good luck!
