No stuffing for subs?

I've always used stuffing before, but this past week Ive slapped 2 15"s in a box in my car for fun and I did NOT use stuffing and I think it sounds just fine. I was wondern what everybody thought of stuffing?

Unless the sub is quite large or is used well up into the lower mids, its BW WLs are larger than the cab, so unless you need to stuff it to lower its Q, it's otherwise a waste of time/materials.
