Hi
Just got myself a NR1219 quite cheap, so could not resist buying...
It turns on, and relay clicks in after some seconds.
But no sound, or the sound can be heard when full volume....
Selector switch are jammed, it's the "wire" type. Knob on the front and switch itself located rear inside the amp.
When covers are off, I'll discover both filter caps are missing.
And one transistor and a zener diode also removed from pwr board.
Also some broken paths on the board.
Soldered in new caps , fixed broken paths.
And changed most of the caps on power board since I had replacements laying around.
Still missing the tr, 2SB647, and 33volt zener.
Cool vintage receiver, maybe under rated. Hopefully I'll get it to work...
Anyone with experience with this model?

Well, I have some Nikko amps, one from the '60 with output transformers (transistor, about 15w/ch) and a power amp with 150W/ch, two chunky power transformers and big VU meters, as well as a well equipped pre amplifier with a nice phono stage. I must say the sound is really not bad, even to todays standards.. Even the '60 amp still works fine. Not really a fan otherwise, but vintage Nikko is interesting at least.
