Wow very nice Mike...
How hot do the heat sinks get? By the look of it... I was using the 11 X 11 heat sink, two per channel and it can get hot. But I was using higher voltage for 3 amps Iq using CLC 22-0-22 400VA TRANS each channel. Yours must be nice and toasty!
Nice one
Chris

Mike, you are very productive DIY amps producer! Very cool.
But where is a transformer? I can not see it. Does it really can play?
🙂
What about comparing to AX sound?
Best regards

Yes
I have a couple left. I only screwed up one footprint Q8.
It will get fixed on the next ones.

Your pretty amplifier
Will you amplifier work too hot to touch?.... just looking at.... i feel some heat wind on my skin!
Am I wrong?.... do you use a fan.... or the temperature in the place you live is very low.....what you do to control if temperature go increasing too mutch?
Just some question.... i do not wan't to say not different from the words i type...no secondary meaning or intention.... the one that ask some.... want's to know...just that...nothing more than that.
I think is very well made... good looking unit and very proportional..... i like it very much....but looking to heat sink size i feel afraid of the heat.....45 watts continuous.... this is a very big amount of heat!.... if i remember when i read... 3 amps and 15 volts... not sure.... may be 45 watts each rail.
Congratulations.... it is pretty

45 watts per rail
The amp is 45 watts per rail. It does not run as hot as my Aleph. It is maybe 40 deg. C.😎

Hi Mike,
I do not know what load your speakers present. I think 15V seems a bit on the low side if you are not using ESL...are you using Static panel speakers?
My JLH for ESL with Mj15003 with regulated 20V and 4A Iq. The JLH with Mj21194 using CLC with around 30V(not remember) and Iq set at 3A sound pretty good with norminal 6ohm load speakers..
Just a thought..
Chris
