ok, I have 4 or 5 computers all with unamplified 3.5mm audio out jacks. I also have (or shall soon have) a large variety of older speakers that connect via speakerwire. None of my computers are surround-capable, so I am simply going to have three left-channel tweeters, and three right-channel tweeters, and two subs.
What I am trying to find or build is a simple box that will take the input from my computers, and let me adjust the volume for each indivitual stereo input, and then output it in stereo to an amp which I can then plug in my speakers (I'm assuming there isn't much harm done by putting three sets of + and - speakerwires into one set of + and - )?
I'm trying to find something that I can find for under $25 used if possible.
