I just found this web site today am interested in building my own projection TV. I obtained from work today a Proxima Ovation 820. Unfortunately, they still use the projector so they could not give it to me too. Does anyone have experience with this LCD? Is it worth buying a projector to use with the LCD? I have all the cables, A/C adaptor and software that came with the LCD. Do I need any special software? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Glen

Well Glen I think you are a very lucky guy...
For specs on your panel go to:
http://members.cox.net/rolm/results.html
It has 2,000,000 colors and a contrast ratio of 200:1 which is just about as good as it gets I think...
You do not need any additional software, just the brightest overhead projector you can find... Think of 4000 lumins as a minimum. If you can afford to pay $100 for a 750 hour lamp, I'd suggest you look for a 7000 lumin projector like the Dukane 680.
If you decide to sell your new toy, please remember me !!!
Good Luck...
Tom.
