I aquired few DAC chips made by MAXIM, MAX541. Is it possible to use them in DACs? I did contact MAXIM support, they did tell me it is possible to usit for music. But, they did not give any idea how to do that. It is 16-bit chip, with Serial-Input and Voltage-Output.
What it can be a problem is format of input signal, 10MHz, 3-wire serial interface, which is compatible with SPI MicroWire?!@#
Does anyone know, what can be done with this chip? ( Forum search did not bring any result for this chip)
