Newbie needs help with lack of video in Ovation 920

I recently aquired an Ovation +920 without the cables. I have a power adapter, and it powers up fine. However, when I connected a DVD player to the video port, the image was completely red and white. Same when I connected it to the S-Video port. I fiddled around with color, tint, saturation, etc, with no results. I fiddled around some more, and must have done something, because I now get nothing at all when I connect a video device. I get a black screen. The menu still comes up, but no video is displayed. Can anybody help me? Also, I am looking for a cable to connect the +920 to the my standard VGA computer. The cable from the 944 will work as well. Anybody have one they are willing to sell me?

have you figured out your problem with the all red display yet? I just got the exact same panel, and am having the exact same problem. I suspect the video input is not deciphering the blue/green signals, but what do I know, I'm new at these things!

Well, it does the same thing for both the DVD player and the gamecube, in both S-video and regular ports. Just a very grainy red and dull yellow picture. When I hook up a computer I don't get any image at all, though the panel does detect and match the resolution that it should be displaying. It'll switch itself to 1024x768 or 800x600 or whatever the computer is set to, but the screen is black. The menu comes up fine, but no picture comes from the computer itself.
