I must confess that I'm very new to DIY amplifier building. I'm more familiar with speaker building though.
I'm interested to build a Class-D amplifier. Yet, I don't know how to start it.
I'd like to ask guru in this forum that is there any cookbook about Class-D amplifier building available, as the speaker building has such as Vance Dickason's?
I've already googled it. But, only I found was apart from Class-D, mostly Class-A and AB.

That totally depends on your particular definition of "building".
Great advice! I’m not mistaken for being in this grammar forum, indeed.

😕
So, what is your definition of building a Class D amp? A Class D amp chip(set) and some PCB design software? Integrating ready made modules? Soldering components onto a pre-existing PCB design? Or do you want to build the class D circuit itself from functional components (triangle wave generator, comparator, bridge...)

It’s tough to begin and tell about the correct preference. However, let me explain some of the stories.
I saw my friend built a Class-D amplifier with an IRS2092 IC. He calculated the lowpass filter, designed the toroidal transformer and PCB himself. Thus, I would call I’d like to build a Class-D amp chip(set), design the lowpass filter and power supply myself, and let my friend help with a PCB design software.
I found a peripheral circuit from a textbook. I have a thought that would it be possible if I were to build an amp using an IRS2092 as my friend used and equip it with the peripheral circuit as shown on attached? Is the figure be the universal peripheral circuit?
