New lens?

Wondering if anyone's tried this baby. $30, 12"+ focal length, 6 inches long and 5 inches diameter. 4 element. Wondering if it could be a decent lens at 130mm diameter...more light at least. I may try it and then eBay if it's not ideal.

Looks like a great lens. My only concern would be the small FOV, as it's designed to work with a small LCD as in projection TVs. If you're going to use a small LCD anyway then that's not gonna be a prob...

Yeah i was worried about the FOV too, it's not a triplet lens and the FOV isn't specced. No idea what TV is came from...they could just be guessing too. I'll try one in a week or two, let you know how it works.

well got an email back, no FOV info, it sounds as though it could work though, diameter of lens is same both ends..worth a try and is at the right price at 29bucks !
