New compact two way looking to downsize

I used the very similar PTT6.5 midrange with the TW26BNWG and got an excellent result. And obviously the Sointuva is very highly thought of.

The nature of this driver is that it usually requires a modest size air volume, but a low tuning frequency. With a bass reflex enclosure, the vent diameter needs to be bigger than typical for a 6" driver due to the capability of the driver, and the length of the vent is too large to fit into a small box. Most people use a passive radiator for this reason.

But I was thinking that most of the time, this type of speaker would be used on a speaker stand. It would be possible to incorporate a large vent into the stand itself (external to the box).

Thinking of going in this direction. is there an Hypex amp to use in active speakers using a passive x/o and would be feed via my valve preamp?
