hi pap,

the lcd monitor that i got is a cybercom monitor thats the packaging, but its in fact a medion 15" lcd , which can be picked up from staples, but beware as they have upped the price since i bought it (it was £180 now it is £210), but dont get the cheap £200 ones available at pcworld as they are slow, it is really hard to recommend a cheap lcd monitor that is capable of gaming as you really need one with a low response time (10-16ms would be great) but they cost almost £300+, so it depends on what you find as acceptable, but I recommend the lcd monitor that I bought as it was simple to dismantle, with very few obstructions, and it was fairly fast, although counter-strike was just about playable , super-mario sunshine (gamecube via vga box) was acceptable, so it all boils down to what you expect from the lcd monitor, if you want acceptable performance and less fuss in dismantling, I would highly recommend the medion, if you make up your mind and decide to follow in my footsteps then feel free to ask me any questions regarding the taking apart of the monitor (although im away for 5 weeks from next tuesday =))

regards
