After a first negative experiment (see here), I decided to rethink my 2x 0-50V 5A PSU project.
I re-used the two DPS5005 which miraculously survived the explosion and two Mean Well NES-350-48 SMPS jacked up to 54V, connected as shown below.

The project is hosted in the recycled chassis of a broken down electrophoresis PSU from my daytime work, with a new homemade frontplate.
I am quite happy with the end result and will measure its ripple when I get a chance.

According to your diagram, i suppose the grounds from your SMPS isolated from the joint ground of the DPS5005 circuit?
