New 10.3 in Golden Ratio reflex

I finished these boxes for the new 10.3 a couple days ago. The boxes are pretty much exactly the factory plan and dimensions, except that I offset the drivers slightly from the centerline, and added a layer of cork to the front. (The idea was 'borrowed' from Yamamura)

For the time being, they are running in a bit on my cheap system. I'm pretty impressed so far. The striking thing is that they are very smooth, and really have no obvious faults. There seems to be a nice compromise between musicality and detail also. I actually intentionally put on some mediocre recordings, and they did much better than I was expecting. I'm not hearing the sibilance people are discussing at all, and I'm very sensitive to that. Power response seems at first listen to be slightly on the laid back side.
