Hi,
I have some Neutrik NTE4 I would like to use, but I have no idea how to wire them. There are 4 cables :
-2 at the bottom (or top...) : 1 red and 1 black
-2 at the top (or bottom...) : 1 yellow and 1 white.
I have no idea how to plug that. Where is the input? Where is the output?
I guess black is the ground, but that's the only thing I could figure out.
And I can't find any information on the Neutrik website except for the drawings...
P.S : it's for line level, so I have 2 of them : any issue if both of them have the same audio ground?
Thank you very much.

Thanks for your answer, but I don't really understand your schematics.
My goal is to increase the signal, so I want 1 in the input and 4 at the input.
So for me, the input is yellow/white and the output red/black?
Thank you

Ok,
It works well, too well : the volume is too high now !
My problem is that I have a bluetooth receiver and a normal jack connection wired to the DSP. I had a lot of bad noise when using the bluetooth receiver. Now, with the NTE4, I don't have it anymore, but the volume is way too high and I am gonna blow up the drivers !
How I can I decrease the volume after the NTE4. I thought about using 2 more NTE4 in this config :
1:4 -> 4:1
But it's gonna be expensive, and I have to wait again for 2 more...
Is there a resistor or something I can just add after the NTE4 to bring down the volume (redividing it by 4...)??
Thank you very much !

4:1 is a big turns ratio !!!
That gives ~ +12dB when used for +ve gain.
The impedance varies with the square of the turns ratio.
A 4:1 turns gives 1:16 impedance. Note the impedance is the reverse of the turns, as well as squared.
If you connect a 10k receiver the source sees 10k/16 ~ 600ohms. A headphone output could drive that 600ohms. A cheap line stage cannot.
