FOR SALE Neurochrome Guardian-686 Speaker Protection PCB fully assembled and tested, with full documentation. Bare PCB sell for 50U$ + shipping and taxes, and parts cost alone is over 50U$. I have two pcb, so I can sell this extra one.
This is a great speaker protection, using high power MOSFET driven by optocoupler, so it is totaly transparent, fast and won't degrade the sound over the years as a relay contact can do. It is running directly from the amp supplies, so no need for an extra supply. It monitors the Output DC level and cut the output if any DC is present. It has a power On delay, and monitor the amp supply, to shutdown the output in case of power problem. Check https://neurochrome.com/products/guardian-686 for details.
Neurochrome offer a first rate support if you need it, but the included documentation is pretty good. Note: This PCB by default support the amp voltage up to 50V, but by changing only two zener diodes you can go much higher. I didn't installed the zener on mine because I was not sure of the amp supply voltage at the moment. I can install one for you, or you can install them yourself depending on your application.
I'll use my other Guradian to protect the outputs of my upcoming Wolverine amp.
Asking 75U$ + Shipping + Paypal 3.5% fee (it is a small pcb, so shipping cost won't be that high)
Thanks for looking
