Hi, excuse me but i'm at work, i'm willing if there is something new on the air, something ready to be pubblished in your sites.
Good job, Stefano. You flushed the varmint out. Let's get 'im, boys!
Hmmm. What's this? No cowboy hat smiley? How can we be a posse without cowboy hats? Oh well. I guess we'll just have to make do. But we're gonna look rather silly riding around wearin' these things.
Giddyap!

Sooo...you are bored, and feel like it and you just go ahead and summon the "maister"?

Maybe that would be a good name for the next Zen

Push Pull Zen?
I am eagerly waiting to see what you have cooked up. Push pull should make it easier to drive normal speakers without heating the whole house.
I was hoping for a Aleph X that uses one IRFP044 for about 10 watts output. Guess I will have to build that one myself.

Why of course! The:
Epiphany 1000
1000 watts of enlightenment.
Talk about a sudden flash of insight-How about the flash if you miswire this baby
Hey it's OK even if it isn't the monster amp.
I think Nelson is feeling a mite bit guilty about causing the energy crisis in California last year. It was those Alephs and X amps.

I do remember reading that the ZV4 was the "penultimate", meaning this next one will be the last.Nelson Pass said:Maybe that would be a good name for the next Zen

Perhaps a Chinese philosophy and religion term... Tao, which means "Way of Heaven". It is also the basis for the Yin/Yang thought of opposing forces of change. The word is very much in line with your products Nelson.

So's SoZ if you're driving it from a balanced source. Or will this one be complimentary push-pull?

Re: Push Pull Zen?
SoZ already is push-pull if you drive it balanced. And if you use an active current source, it won't generate so much heat.

"In addition, there are ways in which a Single-Ended Class A
amplifier can be operated as a push-pull device beyond its bias
point, the assumption being that push-pull performance is
preferable to clipping. Pass Labs has received one patent and
has an application for another reflecting new developments in
this area."
the above quote is from the original Zen article
is this what we'll be exploring in Zen V5?
