Need to source a PSU chassis - simple steel

I need to source a steel chassis for the mono supplies for my pre. Something simple as the enclosed pictures. Like the typical brushed silver faceplate but I guess that might have to be sourced elsewhere.

If you are looking for a more normal type chassis then an instrument type case should be fine. I have more trouble getting tube type chassis these days.

The alloy front panel could be made pretty easily or there are companys that can make them using CNC for a reasonable price straight from a drawing.

Sorry dont have any links but a search should find them. I use Farnell a fair bit over here for cases etc. So you should have no probs with Mouser, Digikey etc.

Another option that I have used before is to buy some obscure test equipment from ebay just for the case, the bonus is all the gubbins you get inside. The downside is a bit of metalwork and possibly painting to get it right.

Cheers Matt.
