Need to replace surrounds on Lowther PM2s

How often are you supposed to replace the surrounds on Lowther drivers? One has a small cut on it , I added tape in the back.

Those would probably work fine. I used zenwood audio's surrounds/spiders and they worked great. I think that they are not made from the same foam material, but I thought that my DX4s sounded better than the original foam material.
