Need Subwoofer and help

I have recently built some FH3 and smaller bookshelf speakers with the MA 7.3 drivers.
I would like to add a subwoofer to fill out the sound a bit. I mainly use these speakers for HT, but on occasion just for music.
The amp(receiver) is an Onkyo (forget the model #). It is about 12 months old. The sub connection is a pre out. I have a spare very old Luxman amp I can use for the sub amp.
Any suggestions as to what drivers and what enclosure to build would be appreciated. The room is large (5m x 8m) or (15' x 24') roughly with high ceilings (12').
Cost is not an issue, but time and waf will come into it, and not necessarily in that order.
Thanks

Jeremy

I am still a fan of Peerless 830500 compared to my Dayton Titanic and RS series. I run two in about a room that size. I use a Parasound 1200 amp with an LR4 electronic crossover. The Peerless can reach up to 200 or so if you use them as bases for the mains, Many other subs can't get anywhere near that high cleanly.

Check out my "stealth sub" photos.
