i`m working on my frist home amp.i`ve managed to fix a few car amps.
well here is what i`m looking for a 2w .220k 2x m50 that is all the numbers on it.the thing i find strange is it has 3 legs.
if it helps its in an onkyo sv 727.
i`ve searched the net but i can`t seem to find one.
is their something i can use in its place??

You will probably find this is actually 2 resistors in one (with the centre leg being common), rated 2w 0.22 ohms each leg. These are quite common in consumer power amps for the output transistor emitters. It's easy just to replace it with two resistors.

Audiolab use a similar arrangement in the 8000A series integrated amps as emitter resistors - 3-pin, 0R22 5W each half in that case - made by Noble
