Hi,
I am given a broken Yamaha CD player CDX-530 : gear with broken teeth (P/N: CX610960) and may be problem on the sledge motor. I have searched the web but the gear seems not to be available anymore.
- Has anybody tried to repair broken teeth on a gear?
- An alternative to me is to change the complete laser mechanism. How must I choose the laser mechanism in order to be able to connect it to the CDX-530 DAC which is fully operating. I think about VAM 1202 from Philips but have no idea if it is compatible.
- I do not have the CDX-530 service manual does anybody have it?
