I have a great sounding Andrew Jones designed sp-sb23w speakerbar that died on me.
Each of the 6 drivers has an individual amplifier, so if it's completely dead,
the problem must be in the power supply, a blown fuse, input cable, etc.
It usually turns on with an audible pop! Now it just has a soft thump every 2 seconds with no power on indicator

That symptom makes it more likely to be a problem with the shared power supply.
If you have a friend who works on such stuff, have him take it apart and check
the power supply.

That's the protection. It tries to power up, senses the error and shuts down again and repeats.
Disconnect the amplifiers (if that's possible) and check the PS voltages. If it stays on, it's on one or more amplifiers.
