I acquired a Telex Magnabyte M3X Projector Panel and its missing the power cable. Unfortunately, it seems to be a proprietary power cable that detaches from the unit. The connector looks very similar to a S-Video style connection. If anyone knows where I can buy a cable like this, then please reply. Thanks.
After speaking with Telex, the maker of the Magnabyte, I found out that they no longer carry or support the Magnabyte M3X. They do not have any power cables or a schematic. Does anyone have their hands on a schematic? If so could you please email it to me. If I can't find a replacement power cable, then I plan to wire one in myself. Also, if anyone knows if the M3X uses the same power cable/adapter as the M2X or M1X or any other product, then please reply.
You could open it up and check to see if the pcb is marked. Sometimes they will have the volatge and polarity but I've never seen the amps marked. Even if it's not marked you can clean any dust from the inside.
remshan,
Thank you for posting that for me. My experience with electronics is very beginner but I am taking classes. I am going to take this photo and the panel to my electronics professor because he said he might be able to help me make a power supply for it. I will post again with the results of that. Again, very much appreciated.

Man, these power supplys are hard to find
I dont suppose the nice person who posted the image would be able to find a part number or serial number on that would you? I have just inherited an m3x and can't find a power supply to save my life. If this is possible, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

telex magnabyte 2002
hello all, newbie here. i just aquired a TELEX MagnaByte, cat #2002. i see you all chatting about a Telex M1,M2,M3X. are these at all like my MagnaByte? i have been looking for a manual for this machine for a few days now and one is nowhere to be found. i suspect the convergance is off. at it's clearest the image wants to separate into a checkerboard. is this the nature of the animal? thanks in advance.
P.S. does anyone know how far away my projector has to be from my wall? the lens says" f\3.8 190mm"
