Hello.
I opened this thread to ask for help!
I repaired a Luxman C-12 for a friend. All capacitors on the power supply were swollen.
After having changed everything I had as an output voltage on the + 29v and -49v.
It does not seem right to me. Then after a few moments, the power transformer was burnt.
I only have the schematic in my possession. There 's no indication of the voltage of the circuit and the transformer.
Does anyone have this info or the service manual?
Thank you so much!

my guess is that since the first cap on the psu is rated for 50 volts, then 35 volts or thereabouts should have been there...did you change taps on the transformer? or a tap changer is present?
try hifiengine.com/ for the service manual..

I have not changed anything on the transformer.
He does not have a voltage selector.
I put 63V capacitor 2200 uF instead 1500 uf 50v. The transformer could not handle the increased capacity i think. Before my repair, the preamp had to be powered with a power surge, a 0.047 uf capacitor was exploded on the main line. The transformer had to be weakened.

Hello !
The preamp is repaired. I put a 2 * 24v transformer (measured 27v ) and it works very well. The power voltage is +-29.5 v after regulation.
Thank you for your answers.
