I found this JCM800 emulator stomp box schematic on the web and was wondering if someone could offer some advice on converting it to use a +-15V supply? It says the author is "Electric" but searching for that and "JCM800 Emulator" that on the net let me no where.
Also if you know who the author is and know his web site if he still has one can you point me to it?
Thanks!

Hi,
The design needs a very stable supply to work, i.e.
a battery, as its inherent ripple rejection is very poor.
Any particular reason you want a 15-0-15 V supply ?
🙂/sreten.

How much advice do you need? Basically it goes like this: Connect drain resistor to positive supply and gate and source resistors to negative supply. Check whether the voltage/wattage ratings remain adequate and rebias the gain stages. Sreten is right about the poor ripple rejection; you should filter the supply well. You'd probably need filters between gain stages as well - without them the circuit might "motorboat".
Sounds like since the circuit might be a bit unstable, I may look further for something else. Maybe the Guitar preamp on ESP.
