I have some 4" speakers and would like to build some PC speakers. I've performed T/S measurement giving aprox.:
Qms: 3.3 Fs:82
Qes: 1.5 Fb:120
Qts: 1 Vb:.12 ft3
Vas: .14 ft3

The problem is that the box calculated is huge for such as small speaker:
ISD results
sealed : 17 litres Qtc:1.12
vented : 75 litres T:32Hz Ql:7.00 Vent Match 0.04

Is there any possiblities to reduce size???

Thanks!

Tincho

The enclosure volume you specify for the sealed box already has a high Q of 1.12, so I wouldn't recommend going any smaller (sizewise) to avoid overly boomy bass. In fact, even 1.12 is too high a Q for me; I'd stick with a max of 0.8. But then again, if it suits your tastes, by all means go for it.
Other options you could try are the isobaric sealed box, which uses two identical drivers and cuts volume in half, and the aperiodic enclosure (think of it as a cross between the sealed and vented varieties).

Good luck.
