I just got an e-mail back from this shop that said they would make a VGA cable for my Sharp QA-1650. They already had the proper pinouts on file. The cable was $32.52 for a 12ft lenght.
I was going to make it myself but for that price its just not worth it.
They probably have the specs for other panels as well.
Heres the link:http://www.redmondcable.com/
Hope this helps,

A member of this forum by the name of uvodee specializes in making Spectra and Sharp cables. I'm not sure the length of the cables, but he sells them for half the price. You could always get a VGA extension if it was that big a deal.
Thanks For the heads up, I think I looked at one of his posts, about the cables. I would buy an exstention cable if I had the origial cable to begin with.
Sharp wants about $120 or so for these things wich is hiway robbery. I was just going to take an exstention cable and put the
proper connector on the other end. But I decided that for $30 it wasnt really worth my time. I picked up this panel for $5 untested at a thrift store. Found a Dell power supply with the right specs on E-bay for $10(Had to enlarge the opening on the power pin slightly) No matter what, I think I am money ahead on this project so far.
I just thought this might be helpful becuase I have noticed some people looking for cables as I was.
