Dear fellow audio DIYers,

As of April 1st (ahm, not an April fool's joke), NEC Electronics and Renesus Technologies merged. NEC already stopped making discrete deivces long time ago (even though they made nice transistors). Renesus Technologies was a spin off from Hitachi's semiconductor division, famous for lateral power MOSFETs. After 2SK133~135/2SJ48~50 line was discontinued, TO-3P devices 2SK1056~1058/2SJ160~162 line debuted, which later replaced by 2SK2220~2221/2SJ351~352 line. Hope the new company, Renesus Electronics, continues to provide us some nice devices.

Just for your information.

Best regads,
Satoru
