NAIM NAP 250 will work over 220V??

Hi all.
A friend of mine is close to buy over e-bay a NAIM Nap 250 and a Naim Audio Hi Cap. Problem is, we have 220V here (Italy) and the e-bay Naims have a 110V power supply. I asked around and I've been told that Naim used the same transformer for both voltages, hard-wiring the transformer primary in a way for 110v and another for 220V, without providing an external (o internal, for that matter) switch. If this is the case, apparently would be very simple to modify.

Anybody heard and can confirm this story? I've also been told that a Naim transformer schematic (explaining exactly the primary cabling) was "somewhere" on the internet, but found any. Anybody remember a link to that place (if it does exist) ?

ciao,
Roberto Amato
