Hi, just got ahold of a nice NAD C545BEE cd player. It works perfectly using the remote control. But the front panel buttons are not responding. None of the buttons work.
Looking for insight on fixing this issue.
Hopefully someone has already fixed this issue on this or a similar model NAD.
cheers,
Luis

My C 546BEE has the same problem, and it seems to be very common with NAD CD players of this generation. Did you ever find a solution? The only clue I've found so far is one poster somewhere else saying "basically down to a batch of faulty PCB`s within the unit that controls the voltage to and from the front panel." I'm not sure if it would be possible to find a good replacement PCB on one of the resale sites.
EDIT: This thread appears to have the solution - https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/nad-c-565bee-cd-player.834922/

I did figure out what was wrong with my unit. I took out the button PCB assembly, and sprayed isopropyl alcohol into each button. I did not disassemble each button. Just sprayed isopropyl and worked each button several times. Let them dry overnight and reassembled the unit. Has been working great for a few weeks now. Hopefully this can help others who read this.
