Hmmm... I made a testsetup, with my DAC, connected through a Toslink TORX173, Strange sound ?, well, there was some 'Humming', a lot more, than i was used to, with my previous testsetup ???.
What to do then ? I tried to connect a testcable between the big 'GND' Connector on the s/pdif board to the left/right out RCA's, then the sound dissapeared from left channel ???
Strange it is 🙂...
I took the hole thing, to my workshop, and looked carefully at this setup.... Ohhh stupid me ! The mistake i suddently see, I had by mistake connected the GND, along with the +out Right channel ???.
Now everything is working, and the hum is gone completly
I am surprised, it had actually worked, but it must be something with the 10K input impedance of my preamp, along with the 100K resistors on the RCA's of the dac. ??? I allway's doublecheck connection's before testing thing's but this time, i made a mistake... Well glad that it worked out well at last.. Look at my picture and have a nice day.
