Here are my results I have brightened up the pics the best I can my digi camera is quite crap its way better than that I mean a million times better.

Digi cameras have a hard time focusing in dark situations. You might try turning on a lamp in the background. It will wash out your projection a little, but will probably also do your results much more justice.
