Hello Guys,
I am a lover of headphone. Recently, I bought an Ming Da MC300-EAR headphone amplifier from the manufacturer in China. Really have to say it is a fanstastic headphone amplifier. The design is simple but elegant. Sound is warm and no noise. The background is quiet. You can hear every detail and it seems that a singer just singing in front of you.
Though it is good enough, I will still love to upgrade this MC300-EAR headphone amp. It will be appreciated if your guys can give me some ideas on how to do it. Thanks in advanced.

What sort of level is the THD at?
The THD is at the level of less than 1%.
More information of this Ming Da MC300-EAR headphone amplifier, please see its website here Meixing electronics factory
Contacted the manufacturer, she told me that the accurate THD is between 0.03% to 0.05% which is much lower than above.
So can anyone give me some advice regarding the modification?
Thank you.

Besides tube rolling, you can upgrade those black caps and any resistors to Vishay resistors etc.
Btw it seems that it's actually a headphone with an optional option to drive speakers as well being a class a integrated.
How is the sound your getting from those Beyer DT770's feeding from that Meixing amp? Also what is the price of the amp and where from?

Hi, Thanks for your ideas.
Yes, it can be used to connect with the speakers and it is an integrated amp. But mostly I used it as headphone amps.
The sound is nice to me compared with other headphone amps. It is vivid, full with dynamics. The most important thing that I like best is there is no noise in the background!!!😀
Price was USD2680. But the lady in Meixing offered me a little discount, so I bought at USD2415. 😀Meixing is from China. I think most people like to call them Mingda. They do produce good products.
Guess there is a typo... you didn't pay 2415$ for the amp...?
this is their new amp, not a typo.😀
