I think that the 450 and the 480 are pretty much the same amp. Dual dif jfet front end cascoded second stage bipolar output. If you change the bias and put in a mosfet output you will have a stunningly fine amp a real keeper. Find the problem fix it and recap it. Enjoy it's a superb amp. If you google you should be able to find a schematic for free if not lots for sale.
