Here is my living room 2-channel only audio rig. All starts with my Rega turntable into the Seduction phono pre (bottom unit) into the highly modified Foreplay pre (top unit) into the Paramour 2A3 SET amps pushing Altec A7 Voice of the Theatre.

Hello,
I really like your setup too. Was the original foreplay kit easy to build? A little while ago i tried to build a preamp kit, but it didn't work at all.. but the sound of tubes is so nice, and the foreplay is a fairly reasonable priced preamp. Is that middle module your entire preamp? Also, what kind of knobs are on the upper part, and what are they for?? Great job!

Now if I can only get BrianGT to sell me some boards, I want to see what I can come up with for a ChipSet. 😀
Hi, Wardsweb -
I like the custom changes you made to these components, and the way you set up the web pages describing them too.

Wow, I'm very impressed! I have now completed 5 diy speaker projects and want to build a tube setup. I have been looking at the Bottlehead kits and found your pics while searching here. Your mods are beautiful.
What speakers have you done? I just bought a serious 10" contractor table saw in preparation for building some speakers.
I've completed the following speakers:
Two sets of Audax HT speakers (one for me and one for a friend)
One set of MBOW1s
One cylinder sub (18" tube w/15" driver) for HT
One set of Dayton 2-ways for my daughter
One 12 sealed subwoofer (not currently used)
So, that actually makes six projects.
Next, I need to choose something that is high efficiency for the tube amps. I'd rather use a proven design instead of trying to create my own. Madisound has a new Fostex kit that I will consider w/o the cabinets. I also have a table saw and like to build my own cabinets.
