thanks! 🙂
there is no hum. did you check the ground connection or the power supply?
or may be you can post some pics here and we can help to solve it. 😉
cheers

Andrea,
Yes, I draw the PCB using CAD and send to the board house.
The sound is good, rich bass and musical. I think it will improve after burn-in. 🙂
Bricolo,
The configuration of the TL431 is just the usual way. 😉
I will prepare the sch. and post it here.
Cheers

Anyways how much does it cost to have a PCB made like that? Also how do you find places that do that?
Good job though, it looks very nice.
I do that acutally. I have all the parts and PCB.
It cost around $120-130 including all components (BGs and Rikens) and PCB.
Cheers🙂

Hi mdlover
Do you have the schematic?

Dear mdlover,
Could you provide some details of the boardhouse that fabricated your PCB ? I am extremely interested. Thank you.

Hello mdlover!
Where did you got your PCB fabricated? For how much? Do they made double side PCB??
Thanks in advance.

Hi Banana,
you can have those PCB manufacturer ads. in local electronics magazine. 😉
i think they have no problems in making double sided board and cost will depend on your board size, quantity.. etc
hope this helps 🙂
cheers
but the sample board charge at least 1-2k for double side...
hi mdlover, long time no see!
in your sch. why dont use ferrite to seperate the gnd?
since i can hear a very little different in some oversampling DAC.
i think it can help the performance in HF...

hi takashi,
thanks for your suggestion. 🙂
btw, i don't have the issue you have mentioned. this board is working with satisfaction. 😀
cheers

And I've got no problems with the same board. I use standard resistors but Multicap PPMX for output. So far it seems pretty good. Now playing with the Elektor OPA627 pre and my GCs on a pair of home made speakers. The DAC soon goes into a Conrad case same as for the GCs.
Thanks a lot mdlover for the boards and TDA1543.
