Hello All

I have just bought a X can V1 off of e-bay. I went to hook it all up and the sound is crap. It's not clear and sounds very distorted and as if the sound is coming from underwater. Any ideas what the issue might be?

Hi Bally, what's your level of expertise and available test equipment??

Doesn't that have an external power supply? If so is it putting out the correct voltage.


If you want us to help you will need to probably post a schematic, and or at least some hi resolution photos of the innards.

If it were me I would pay the return shipping and get a refund.

One easy check is if the tubes have come lose in shipping. Having looked at some pictures its an interesting assembly to debug...
