Hi All
I've spent the last few days reading through this forum - it's fascinating - i ended up here looking for cheap amps for a squeezebox setup, and wanted to find out more about what the TA2020 was that i kept seeing mentioned!
My situation is this - i have 4 squeezebox duets, each needs amplification
I don't like the idea of having 4x separate amps, 4 power supplies, etc - it just seems cluttered
I like to try new things, but am in no way a skilled in electrics or audio - but these pre-made boards got me thinking.
Could i buy 4 x Arjen Tripath TA2020's (mk3) (or something like this Wholesale F137# The New Gold Pin Chip T Class 2*25W TA2020 Digital Amplifier Board T AMP) and put them all in one box?
For power, would i need 4x psus (1 per board) - could i have one socket on the back and then loop along the back of each psu to power them?
Sorry for the complete noobness, i'm just trying to figure out if what i'm trying to do makes sense before spending more days trying to figure it out..

You shouldn't use multiple supplies. Use one of higher amp rating instead. 10A-15A should suffice.
so something like this -> 12V 12.5A MEANWELL Switch mode power supply ORIGINAL | eBay
wired with two of the ta2020's on each output? or would better practice be to go from one output to one of the ta2020's and then on to the next?
