I want to rebuild the circuit are of this amp but I want to be sure on the arrangement of the two output coils.
Are the coils arranged in series? If yes does the center tap connects to any trace?
Or if someone have a picture of that area with the coils remove could post.

Good evening Sir Babin, you always say to start a new thread but I'm continuing the repairs on this same amp, I've just received the output coils for the amp original pulls from a scrap amps, I didn't get the board tho. I've powered up the amp just to check if it's stable enough to do some voltage check and temperature of devices. I didn't install the coils as yet but what I've seen was smoke and I've blown parts in the output drive stage.
Q264, Q263, D263, R263.
The two caps C240 and C250 became hot and FET260 is also blown.
Do you have the part numbers for the transistors and resistors also I'm hoping if you could give suitable equivalence in thru-hole for the transistors as I won't be able to get the surface mount ones in my locale.

The reason that I want new threads started is to prevent having multiple amp repairs intertwined. From my point of view, any help I provide here is not only for the OP but for anyone that finds it via a search engine. For those people, the thread would be useless if they have to try to determine which posts are for each amp.

See attached. You'll have to change the prefix to get the through-hole part numbers.

Good evening Mr Babin, are you sure my optocouplers are ok? ive seen in another thread where you made firm suggestions that they ought to be changed.
I havent done anymore work on this amp as yet as im waiting for parts to be shipped.

If the voltage applied to the opto-coupler exceeds the maximum allowable voltage spec, they should be replaced.

I generally go into more detail for those just beginning than I do with those with more repair experience... and sometimes I'm very limited in the time that I have to answer questions and don't think of every possible fault.
