So the blew all the ps fets, and probably the outputs too. Legs 2-3 are shorted on all output transistors. The amp had 75n06 in the power supply which i switched for 3205's and in q1-4 replaced the drivers with mps56-06? The amp powered up however i left it on 9v and it drew over 3amps.
Just to make sure nothing else was wrong Perry, I turned up slowly, but it remained at high current.
I wasn't completely sure about the drivers also. I believe I did it all right it just the outputs? They short between legs 2-3 I don't have them I was wondering if I could use something else.?
Use the original part number output transistors if they're available from a reputable distributor.
The amp has a hard turn off perry. It's working but it's turn off almost blows a speaker, should I go back to the original 75n06? I have 70n06 in stock will they work with the original drivers
I know this is the old thread but I just acquired MTX tna251 the board looks similar to the board y'all have posted but it is a little different the amp just flashes the red light when it's connected to power I took the cover off and there is a resistor in between two of the capacitors that is blown but I can't read the board to know what to replace it with does anyone have a circuit board diagram for
