My MTX 110WattX2 Amp has some issues. It turns on, but the output to the speakers is quiet and scratchy. If it is hooked up bridged, I hear a high-piched squeal from the speakers.
I am not a expert, but any help is appreciated

It Works!
Well, No thanks to all you helpfull people (NOT!) I fixed it. I ended up being the transistors in the DC-DC converter section. Replaced them and it works like new.

Not sure how this section became 'if your amp is broken, create an account on diyaudio and ask there'.

There is usually 2 or 3 new members every week posting 'how do i fix my blown amp'. They post their demand for help, and rarely come back and check to see if someones spent 1/2 an hour trying to figure out whats wrong based on 1 line on information.
I am trying to get the wiki going to cover the basics of repairing blown amps, as most are the output transistors.
