I recently bought a MTX 300xd Amp but it doesnt put out any sound.
I have oppened it up, doesnt look to be any burn marks, or anything of that sort. So i pull all the mosfets off, and the rectifier. Tested them all, and they all check out.
Not to sure of any history on the amp. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

With all of the components in the circuit was it producing rail or regulated voltage?
Can you post (or email me) at least one photo of the inside of the amp?

here is a photo of the amp, i will also send one to the email you provided.
I didnt check the voltages, where would i check them from?
Also i dont know if it would matter but im kinda of using a micky mouse set up. I bought a ac-dc converter, but its only rated at 8.5 amps.
My thinking is that it SHOULD work, as im not looking to produce large amounts of sound. Just so that i know if its functioning.
Also just off to the right of D3 there are exposed copper tracings, NOT sure if that would be a problem

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
LOL LOL It does not put out any sound cause there are NO power devices mounted to the board on the far side. Not one output or even a power supply fet are left in that amp.
That is why your amp is not working. its been stripped of all of it power devices.

.......thanks......if ya read the original post I pulled them off and tested them......any other ideas?
He was asking about the + & - voltage supplying voltage to the output transistors. And also the + & - 15 volts on the op-amps in the preamp section. Neither of these "Come Out" of the amplifier.
