Moscode Minuet in A

First thing, when you plug it in, does a light come on?

What is the fault?

A preamp is unlikely to fail, being a low power device.

Otherwise we are guessing. You follow?

The owner heard a loud crack and switched off, I have so far tested electrolutics

Pushed the wrong button, sorry, electros measure fine with my esr meter. That is all I have done, will test with power on and no tubes in when time allows.
