As the title suggests, I'm looking to replace my PB-1000 which is a ported 10" driver sub with 300w RMS. I want the box to be sealed and smaller than the PB-1000 box if possible.
These are the parts I'm thinking of using:

What would be the trade-offs and gains here? Can a smaller sealed box with this much better driver (I think) go as low as the PB-1000 which goes down to sub 20hz in my room?
Should I go for a 12" driver instead? The SVS SB-1000 which is a 12" driver in a much smaller cabinet goes down to 24hz according to SVS and I don't doubt this.
What would be your suggestion for a smaller box for music?
