I love the Morel MDT 33, can somebody tell me whether the ET 338 is any significant upgrade? I mean, sonically
Mmm… I'm seriously thinking about selling my matched pair of MDT 33s. I used the 33s in a two-way speaker build a while back—it sounded absolutely spectacular. A friend of mine heard it, fell in love with the sound, and I ended up selling it to him… big mistake!
I bought a new matched pair of MDT 33s afterward, and I’ve been slowly breaking them in—occasionally running tests and taking measurements on different baffle designs—but I never got around to finishing another project. I don't have time.
Now, with time being so tight, I’m thinking it might be better to let them go. And who knows—if I get a little breathing room down the line, I’ll grab a pair of 338s and start fresh.
